Dr Thusitha Abegunawardene

Dr Thusitha Abegunawardene attained her Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1993. She relocated to Australia in 1995 and obtained her training from Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Modbury Hospital and The Queens Elizabeth Hospital. She has been an accredited Fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) since 2003 and worked extensively for 17 years in metropolitan areas in South Australia such as Mount Barker, Bedford Park and Norwood but has recently moved to sunny Brisbane for more adventures.

Dr Abegunawardene's areas of clinical interest include Paediatrics, Women's health and Family medicine.

• For patients aged 17 and over there is a Private charge with the usual Medicare rebate.

• Concession rate for Pension Card Holders and Health Care Card Holders.
