Iron Deficiency & Anaemia

The GPs at Doctors at Newmarket can assess and manage patients with iron deficiency and iron deficiency anaemia.

Low iron levels can cause symptoms such as tiredness, weakness, dizziness, headaches and shortness of breath. If you are experiencing these symptoms, your GP can assess your health, medical history and blood test results and discuss appropriate treatment options with you.

Initial Consultation

Please book a standard 15-minute appointment with your GP to discuss your concerns. Your GP may recommend blood tests or other investigations to assess your iron levels and determine the most appropriate care.

If further treatment is recommended, your GP will discuss the available options and next steps with you.

Fees

Where a procedure is recommended following a GP consultation, the total fee is $280, comprising:

Doctor fee: $250
Consumables: $30

Please contact the clinic if you have questions about your appointment or treatment options.
